Swiss working group

The Swiss working group focuses in particular on topics of Swiss competition law. All members of the Studienvereinigung are entitled to attend events held by the Swiss working group.

The programme of the Swiss working group is as follows:

  • Twice a year, the Swiss working group holds talks at which the members discuss current topics of Swiss competition legal practice. At each talk, key topics are prepared and presented by individual members.
  • Once a year, the Swiss working group meets members of the Swiss competition authority to exchange ideas and discuss practical issues on the application of competition law in Switzerland.
  • Each summer, together with the Institute for Economic Law at the University of Bern, the Swiss working group organises a conference for all members of the Studienvereinigung. This event deals with general topics of competition law.
  • In addition, the Swiss working group also organises ad hoc events on current issues.

The Swiss working group regularly prepares submissions on draft competition legislation in Switzerland.
